3 Mollies. A black one, silver one, & orange one.
The black moves too fast for a good shot at it.

I miss my fish terribly... My parents got me a 30 gallon tank on my 8th birthday and I had it till I was 19. The new house was too small for such an extravagance.

If you don’t have all boys or all girls, you gonna have more mollies. Like rabbits that swim.

They are all girls.

I just like easy fish to take care of, before I had 4 guppies.

Mollies are neat fish. They prefer slightly brackish water. A small pond connected to the bay where I used to live had a population of wild ones. I used to catch them for my aquarium. I have a couple of 29 gallon aquariums and a double-stack stand for them. I also have a 200 gallon, but I need a new stand. All of them were put into storage during the last move. Our current house is much smaller than our last house, so I don’t have a spot to set them up.
I miss my aquariums.

I had guppies too, it only took a couple days for them to start breeding

My tank sat for a month after my guppies died, the water was really gross. I drained it, and did a good cleaning.

Awww :(
I believe you, but still... they can’t even spare you the footprint of a 30-gallon? Sounds as if space truly is at a premium
Maybe soon...

Aww good-looking fishsters :) Congratulations on being a new fish-parent again.
Can someone fish-sit during Orlando?
Calico Oranda Goldfish for your time
(Also, not pictured a Black Moor GF and two Bettas, but they each have their own private condo because Betta)

I worked in a pet shop for a time during college. A woman came in and was complaining that she couldn’t keep anything in her aquarium alive. We went over the proper care and cleaning of the aquarium. Turns out her weekly cleaning regime was to drain the aquarium, carry it over to the tub and use 409 or bleach to clean everything out. She then rinsed the whole shebang and put it back together.
She had a hard time understanding why a perfectly clean tank was killing her fish.

I change 1/4 of the water twice a month, 3/4 of the water every other month. I clean the sides from alage as needed. When I had Oto Cats I left some alage for them to munch on.

Sounds like you know what you are doing.
I once set up a balanced system that ran with nothing but topping off the water for over a year. The trick was not overloading it with fish, filling it with lots of live plants, and giving it plenty of light. It all went south when I left for a week and my roommate decided to feed the fish. The algal bloom was spectacular.

I could fit 2 more in, but want happy fish. I don’t have much space for plants as my tank is tall cylinder.
